Tarot Court Cards

Even if you are good at doing tarot card readings, some of the cards are harder to read such as the tarot court cards. These cards will show up and they can be harder to interpret than the other cards in the deck.

Interpreting Tarot Court Cards

Once you understand what the court cards mean, you can interpret them during your tarot reading. There are different ways that you can interpret the cards and once you understand when these cards show up and know the situation, you will figure out how to interpret them correctly.

Court Cards as People

One of the most common ways to read the court cards is to see them as specific people. You can do this when you are doing your own reading. The Queen of Swords will show up as a career card and you will see that this can mean that you are working towards some career, and you are getting support.

When this card shows up, you can know that something good is going to happen in your career in the future. If the King of Pentacles shows up, you will know that you are passionate and you work hard. You will need to remember that the cards aren’t gendered and that the Queen can mean a man and the King can mean a woman.

Court Cards as You

You can also use the court cards to represent yourself. Everyone has masculine and feminine energies, and you can identify with energy of all ages. When the court cards show, you might wonder what the tarot cards are telling you. If you see the Page of Cups, this can mean that you are having problems in your relationship, or it can mean that you need to try love again.

Understanding the cards and how they relate to yourself is useful, but you might need to meditate and figure out what the cards mean exactly for you.

Influences of the Court Cards

The court cards don’t always mean you or someone specific, but they can mean an event or a situation. The cards are full of energy and whatever they are telling you can change the way that the meaning shows up.

The King of Swords card can come to you to show you that you are making strides in your goals and that you are using your smarts to reach these goals. When the knights appear, you might be able to use them as a way to interpret a need for change. The King has more authority, and the Queen has more compassion.

Knowing the Court Cards

No matter how many readings you get, everyone interprets things differently. You will know if you are interpreting the cards correctly by listening to your intuition. If you find the King of Cups cards and it is in a general position, this can mean that you are going to find love. Or it can mean you are reaching maturity in your emotions.

You need to listen to what your intuition is telling you and let it guide you. Figure out which interpretation feels right for you and go with it. Listen to whatever you gut feeling is telling you. You can look at the cards and clarify the answers.

What are the cards telling you? If you pull a card and you aren’t sure, take time to meditate on it. See if it is an emotional card to you. What do you feel that the card symbolizes and represents?

Let the Cards Guide You

It is important to let the court cards guide you. Even if they are confusing, they can help you to make good decisions. You will become great at interpreting them, and they will help you to know which direction to go in your life.
