Reading Your Own Tarot Cards

Tarot cards are a great way to help you in your life. When you need to make hard decisions about a situation, you can use tarot cards to help you. Love questions are the most common questions people ask and as you practice, you can figure out what the future has for you when it comes to love.

When Should You Do a Love Reading

The best day to do a love reading is Friday because it is the day that is ruled by Venus. It is a day that your love can be influenced and that you can have better luck with your reading. Another time is during a full moon because the moon is based on emotions, and it can help you to tap into your intuition better.

Making a Tarot Spread

You can use any amount of cards for your tarot spread and one question always equals one card. The less cards that you use the better and the easier the reading will be. The more cards that you choose the more messages you will get, and it can be confusing when you’re a beginner.

Even people that have been doing tarot card readings for years often won’t do more than 7 cards in their spread. Here are some things that you might want to ask for your spread:

In a New Relationship?

  • What has brought us together?
  • What do they like the most about me?
  • What should we focus on together in the relationship?

Problem Relationship?

  • What is causing our issues?
  • What do they feel about our relationship now?
  • What can we work on together to fix things?
  • Should we stay together for the long haul?

Past Relationships?

  • What caused us to breakup?
  • What do they feel about me at this time?
  • What is my lesson to learn from this?
  • Will we ever get back together?

Using Tarot Cards for Relationships

Pick how many cards you want for your spread and then shuffle the cards. Keep your intentions in your heart and what you want to know about your relationship. If a card falls down, place them down as your spread and if they fall face up, pick the ones that you feel drawn to.

Put the cards in front of you and focus on each card. Write down what the card makes you feel. You can even use your guidebook that comes with your cards to find the meanings. It takes time and practice to remember the meanings and this book will help. Pick your answers in regards to the questions that you ask. Remember, the guidebook will not answer specific questions for you, and you will have to interpret some of the answers for yourself.
